Jean-Daniel Strub takes over the management of the Neumünster Institute
February 18, 2025
Gesundheitswelt Zollikerberg is delighted to welcome Jean-Daniel Strub as the new head of the Neumünster Institute as of 1 February. Jean-Daniel Strub succeeds Eliane Pfister Lipp, who has put her heart and soul into running the institute for many years and will in future act as overall manager of the newly created "Living and Housing in Old Age" business area.
Jean-Daniel Strub has been working for the Neumünster Institute since 2021 and supports Gesundheitswelt Zollikerberg in all ethical matters. His field of activity ranges from traditional issues in healthcare and clinical ethics to end-of-life issues, dealing with digitalisation and the use of artificial intelligence in medicine and care. He shapes the Institute with his contributions to specialist groups, publications in specialist journals, the ever-popular Lunch & Learn and the podcast "Morgen:Rapport" of the healthcare world, in which he takes a look at the future of the healthcare system with the respective guests.
"The Neumünster Institute is a unique institution in the healthcare sector in Switzerland: As part of the Zollikerberg Healthcare World, it is right in the middle of the day-to-day operations, but with a mission to think beyond the issues of the present with interdisciplinary expertise. I look forward to helping to shape the further development and successful positioning of this little jewel in the Swiss healthcare system and, together with the institute team and our partners and customers, to provide efficient social innovation services for the healthcare world of tomorrow."
Under the motto "design - enable - implement", the Neumünster Institute works with internal and external partners to develop innovative projects and services in areas such as Care@Home, palliative care, integrated care, ethics, loneliness in old age and digitalisation.
