Our experienced team, consisting of doctors and specially trained emergency nurses, offers you competent, fast and safe care at all times.
Our emergency centre is open to patients of all insurance classes. We are well networked and have various points of contact: our emergency department at Zollikerberg Hospital, our paediatric centre (for children and adolescents up to the age of 16) and our women's centre in Zurich. Our interdisciplinary emergency centre is open around the clock, 365 days a year. In life-threatening emergencies, please call the emergency number 144 directly.
The services of emergency medicine
In emergency medicine, we focus on the individualised treatment of people affected by acute and potentially life-threatening conditions. We cover the entire rescue chain, which includes the following important steps:
- First aid and rapid clarification in the event of unforeseen changes in the patient's state of health
- First aid after accidents
- Rapid initiation of necessary therapies
- Treatment of minor ailments in the new fast track: patients with less urgent problems are treated quickly and specifically here in order to reduce waiting times.

The interdisciplinary emergency centre is located directly next to the main entrance of Zollikerberg Hospital at Trichtenhauserstrasse 20. 24-hour operations are staffed by qualified emergency nurses and medical specialists.

In the fast track of our interdisciplinary emergency centre, patients with less urgent problems are treated quickly and efficiently. Our experienced team ensures rapid medical clarification and targeted care. This shortens your waiting times and you receive exactly the care you need.

The emergency ward is located directly next to the main entrance of Zollikerberg Hospital at Trichtenhauserstrasse 20. 24-hour emergency nursing staff are on duty together with medical specialists.
Paediatric Permanence Zollikerberg Hospital
We treat several thousand emergencies a year. If necessary, we carry out emergency ultrasound examinations (abdomen, chest, skull, soft tissue, bones and joints). You can obtain the necessary medication directly from our own pharmacy. We carry out important laboratory tests immediately in our own practice laboratory.
Women's Permanence Zurich
For gynaecological and obstetric emergencies, we have a practice directly at Stadelhofen station, the Frauen-Permanence Zürich.
Helpline for pregnant women in need
The freephone number +41 800 00 20 10 provides expectant mothers in social emergency situations with discreet counselling. The number is available around the clock.

The Hottingen Health Centre offers family medicine from A to Z at Freiestrasse 71 in Zurich. If your family doctor is not available at the moment, you can reach us by telephone on +41 43 244 89 89.
