The Advent and Christmas season invites us to reflect, come together and share moments of joy. Once again this year, we are offering a wide range of spiritual, musical and communal events in the world of health.

We all know that learning doesn't stop when training is complete. On the contrary, we face new situations every day that require expertise, creativity and cooperation. This is exactly what the Learning and Education Centre is there for: a place where we can prepare ourselves for the challenges of today and tomorrow.

The foundation-wide Ethics Forum at Gesundheitswelt Zollikerberg has been in existence for over 20 years. On 1 July, the current members met for its 200th meeting.

Palliative care begins with a diagnosis that limits life. What comes after that is open. My work begins with listening. I want to understand the other person - the situation, the questions, the wishes. I want to provide personalised support. I want to find out what is important.

More than 1,100 employees of Gesundheitswelt Zollikerberg have already experienced kultour - more than 100 of them have even played an active role in shaping it. Their involvement is crucial for the quality of the workshops and the relevance of the project for the working reality of Gesundheitswelt Zollikerberg.

Since the establishment of our Diakoniewerk Neumünster foundation in 1858, we have played a key role in shaping the regional healthcare system with our Zollikerberg hospital, the Magnolia nursing home, our retirement homes and our numerous healthcare services.
