The learning and education centre takes us further

October 9, 2025

We all know that learning doesn't stop when training is complete. On the contrary, we face new situations every day that require expertise, creativity and cooperation. This is exactly what the Learning and Education Centre is there for: a place where we can prepare ourselves for the challenges of today and tomorrow.

What can this mean in concrete terms?

When someone completes a resuscitation course, this is now done in a blended learning format. The theory can be studied flexibly online, while the time spent in class is used for the essentials: practising, practising, practising. This saves time and gives us confidence in the event of an emergency.

Thanks to a combination of e-learning and workshops, new nursing experts are able to familiarise themselves with their role and are therefore able to provide the teams with advice more quickly.

In workshops on kinaesthetics, we have networked across team boundaries and worked together to develop better mobilisation techniques. This benefits not only us, but above all our patients.

The learning workshop has created a space in which skills can be practised using the "Kelly" simulation mannequin, in role-play or in group discussions. Here, expertise and encounters are combined, supported by vocational trainers who give feedback and share tips.

Continuous learning is important to us

Each and every one of us benefits from this: learners who become more courageous. Professionals who deepen their knowledge. Teams who learn from each other. And ultimately all employees who experience for themselves that their further development is directly related to their work.

The learning and education centre is therefore more than just an offer. It is an attitude: we grow together. Professionally, personally and as a community in the Zollikerberg world of health.
