Clinic for Internal Medicine
Our specialised palliative care unit on the outskirts of Zurich offers you compassionate and holistic care. Our focus is on alleviating your suffering and maintaining your personal quality of life in the best possible way.
As a patient, you and your family members are at the centre of our interprofessional palliative care team. We perceive you as a whole and treat you individually. The guiding principle "It's not about giving life more days, but about giving days more life" characterises our everyday life and reflects the core values and goals of our palliative care.
There for you with expertise and humanity
Our specialised team is made up of experienced specialists from the fields of medicine, nursing, psychology, speech therapy, pastoral care, social work, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and nutritional advice. Together with you and your family and loved ones, we develop interprofessional, customised solutions that will accompany you through your phase of illness and improve your quality of life.
We not only alleviate physical complaints, but also take care of your psychological, spiritual and socio-cultural concerns. Through an active dialogue with you and your family and loved ones, we respond to your individual wishes and needs. In doing so, we respect life in its wholeness and finiteness. Health world
"No two situations are the same"
Palliative care begins with a diagnosis that limits life. What comes after that is open. My work begins with listening. I want to understand the other person - the situation, the questions, the wishes. I want to provide personalised support. I want to find out what is important.
