Cataract surgery

In eye surgery, cataract operations are the most common. In cataracts, also known as cataracts, the lens of the eye becomes cloudy. Affected people see their surroundings through a veil.

Treatment options for cataracts

  • Cataract surgery: Our specialists remove the body's own cloudy lens and insert a clear artificial lens. We differentiate between different types of lens to be implanted, which we are happy to advise our patients about in detail before the operation.
  • In around 30 per cent of cases, a so-called "secondary cataract" can occur after the operation. However, our specialists can remove this with a simple laser treatment.
