Gesundheitswelt Zollikerberg strengthens the "Living and housing in old age" business area
February 11, 2025
Gesundheitswelt Zollikerberg is taking an important strategic step and strengthening the "Living and housing in old age" business area. This area is part of our foundation's purpose and Gesundheitswelt Zollikerberg can draw on a wealth of experience.
Due to demographic developments, this area plays a central role in the long-term planning of Gesundheitswelt Zollikerberg. The demand for needs-orientated residential and care facilities for older people is constantly increasing. At the same time, the requirements for integrated care are becoming increasingly complex. In order to meet this development, Gesundheitswelt Zollikerberg is bringing together its existing services in this area:
- 220 retirement flats with extensive services
- Magnolia residential and care home with dementia unit
- Two Spitex teams for outpatient care
- Palliative care for comprehensive support in difficult phases of life
- Events and information programmes for residents and relatives
With this reorganisation, Gesundheitswelt Zollikerberg is meeting the changing requirements of care for the elderly and strengthening its position as a provider of integrated care models.
New management for a forward-looking business area
Dr Eliane Pfister Lipp will take over the overall management of this business division on 1 February 2025. She has extensive experience in pension provision and has been responsible for numerous cross-divisional projects in her previous role as Head of the Neumünster Institute. Her co-management of the "Visit - Spital Zollikerberg Zuhause" project, which enabled closer integration of outpatient and inpatient care, was particularly influential.
