Clinic for Surgery
A wound treatment team has been set up at Zollikerberg Hospital to provide you with the best possible care for problem wounds.
In addition to clarifying the causes of the chronic wound, we attach great importance to providing detailed information. The resulting motivation is important for you because treatment often requires a lot of patience, even with the most modern methods.
The consultation is supervised by a certified wound manager ZWM® and a nurse under medical supervision. Together with electronic wound documentation, this guarantees continuity and quality of treatment. If necessary, you can also be hospitalised for a period of time for special treatments or operations.
Patients with problem wounds should be referred by their general practitioner so that further treatment can be guaranteed in co-operation with them. If necessary, Spitex nursing will be involved in the treatment as soon as possible.
