Peritoneal dialysis

Peritoneal dialysis is an established home dialysis procedure for the treatment of chronic kidney failure requiring dialysis. It enables continuous blood purification at home and helps to maintain quality of life and independence.

CAPD and APD - customised peritoneal dialysis

We offer both forms of peritoneal dialysis depending on the medical situation and personal daily routine:

  • CAPD (continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis): performed manually throughout the day, without a machine
  • APD (automated peritoneal dialysis): machine-operated at night with a day off

The choice of the appropriate procedure is made individually according to medical and personal criteria.
