Clinic for Neonatology
When your child returns home after a stay with us, we will ensure that your paediatrician or, if necessary, a specialist continues to provide optimal care.
The transition begins with a personal telephone call with your paediatrician so that all important information - in addition to the discharge report that we send out - can be passed on directly and any unanswered questions can be clarified immediately.
If your child requires physiotherapy support, our physiotherapy department will provide you with a list of suitable therapists with whom you can make an appointment directly. We will also issue you with a written prescription.
Do not hesitate to express your wishes and suggestions during the final consultation. Our aim is to make the transition home as pleasant as possible for you and your child.
Specialist follow-up treatment - we coordinate the appointments
If your child requires further specialist care, we will register them directly with the relevant practice or the Zurich Children's Hospital. If you live outside the canton, we will coordinate the follow-up treatment with the specialists there, with whom we are closely networked.
