Centre for Integrative, Complementary Medicine & TCM (ZIMT)

Thanks to advances in medicine, more people can now be successfully treated for cancer and live longer. Nevertheless, late effects or side effects of the therapies can be a considerable burden for those affected. We do not want to leave you and your relatives alone during this phase and would like to support you.

The term "cancer survivorship" covers all people who have been diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives. Cancer survivors can either be considered cured or live with (chronic) cancer. The possible late effects are manifold and can severely impair quality of life. Every person and every situation is unique. Some feel largely symptom-free, others struggle with the effects of the disease and its treatment. These challenges affect not only those affected, but also their relatives.
