Traffic situation during the Cycling and Para-Cycling Road World Championships Zurich 2024

The 2024 Cycling and Para-Cycling Road World Championships will take place in and around Zurich from 21 September to 29 September 2024. Access to Zollikerberg Hospital is guaranteed at all times, but there may be traffic restrictions and longer journey times. Find out about the closed road sections on the Canton of Zurich website. The ZVV website has all the information you need about travelling by public transport.

Please note that from 25 September to 29 September 2024, Zollikerberg Hospital will only be accessible via Forchautostrasse A52 from 5.00 am to 7.00 pm. An access permit is required for this. Please download your permit here. Place it behind your windscreen so that you can pass through the Itschnacher-Kreuzung/Zumikon checkpoint as quickly as possible. If you have forgotten your permit at home, state that you wish to drive to Zollikerberg Hospital. In this case, you will need a little more time, but you will be granted access.
