Internal medicine deals with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of the internal organs. These include, for example, the heart, lungs, brain, liver and kidneys. Our clinic covers the entire spectrum of internal medicine. We supplement our basic internal medicine care by calling in specialists for certain diseases, for example of the gastrointestinal tract or the thyroid gland.

We have a specialised palliative care ward where we treat patients with severe or chronically progressive illnesses.
